All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) is conducted by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University (SVU), Vadodara for admission into undergraduates courses offered at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth University and colleges under it. The constituent colleges are SBKS Medical Institute & Research Centre which is recognized by the Medical Council of India for MBBS programme, K.M. Shah Dental College & Hospital, recognized by the Dental Council of India for BDS programme, College of Physiotherapy, recognized by the Association of Physiotherapy for B.P.T programme, Sumandeep Nursing College recognized by the Nursing council of India and Gujarat for B.Sc  (Nursing) programme and Pharmacy, recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India for B.Pharm programme.

Admissions will be made on the basis of merit of the candidates sitting in the AICET entrance test and counseling, conducted by the institute. Before applying for AICET entrance exam, the  candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements in order to be eligible to sit for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria for AICET 2013

• The candidate must have Indian nationality.

• The candidate must have passed 12th H.S.E board or equivalent examination or appearing for 12th H.S.C examination in group of science stream except for the admission in pharmacy program are eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for taking admissions:

• For MBBS and BDS: A candidate should have passed 12th with Science (PCB with English & minimum of 50% of marks).

• For B.Sc Nursing: A candidate should have passed 12th with Science (PCB with English & minimum of 45% of marks).

• For BPT: A candidate should have passed 12th  with Science (PCB with English).

• For B.Pharm: A candidate should have passed 12th with Science.

How to Apply for AICET Exam

• Information bulletin along with an application form can be obtained from (a) University Office or (b) download from University website http://www.sumandeepuniversity.co.in and duly filled in form is to be submitted along with Demand Draft (D.D)of Rs..2,100/- (Rs 600 (Form Fee) + Rs 1500 (Test Fee)) till 13/5/2013.

• The Application Form submitted after 13/5/2013 is to be submitted along with Demand Draft(D.D) of Rs. 2,600/- (Form Fee + Test Fee+ Late Fee) till 18/5/2013.

• Demand Draft shall be drawn in favour of “SUMANDEEP VIDYAPEETH”payable at Piparia or Vadodara.

• A candidate who desires to appear for All India common Entrance Test of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, must submit the application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of the application.

• The last date of submission of duly filled application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the office of Registrar, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Piparia upto 6.00 p.m. on date 13/5/2013 and (with late fee of Rs. 500/-) up to on date 8/5/2013.

Pattern for AICET Exam

• The AICET 2013 exam will be for three hour duration, containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs).

• Questions will be of objective type with four options for answer.

• Every correct entry shall be awarded one mark.

• There will be no negative marking for incorrect entries.

• The Medium of Examinations will be English language.

• The Entrance Test shall be of the standard Examination and shall cover three Science Subjects.  The subject wise distribution of marks will be as follows :-

• There is no provision of re-checking and re-evaluation of answer copies.
